A Pied Piper’s Tale

A journey into a silent world where a rat and an orphan make their way through unknown lands to find something, they know not what. A Pied Piper’s Tale is the story of Hamlin, from the rat’s point of view, told the long way around, with a tale of how we got there, and a story of what we might have learned. It is a story told in sequential art, planned to eventually be in a comic book format. This website is journey to the story as we go along, and the story changes under my pencil and charcoal, as stories are inclined to do. But it is a true story, or so I hear, and rest a while under the world tree with me, and for a moment believe it with me.

Below are some of our cast, soon the world will begin.

rat, with us from the beginning of our journey

raven, before there was the world, there was raven

rabbit, that tricky trickster trouble maker

crow, also there at the beginning, a little before there was time

Pencil Sketch of a Cape Crow calling, except that the world of this story is silent, so I guess crow looking annoyed in a silent way. Crow fills up a landscape picture, standing in the bottom left with his head near the top right. His wings are slightly raised and the visible wing touches the top of the picture. Crow's feet are incompletely drawn, they didn't fit in. He does look grumpy.
